Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026 · This is a translation. If there is any difference, the French version prevails.
In short. This site has no form and doesn't ask you for anything. When you book an appointment, I collect only what I need to welcome you and give you safe care. I never sell your information.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Vanessa Leblanc, podologue, is the person in charge of the protection of personal information.
12 rue Sainte-Anne, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec
Email: v.leblanc@podologuevanessaleblanc.com
Phone: 514 772-8774
2. What this site collects
- No forms. The site doesn't ask for your name, email or phone number.
- No analytics or tracking tools. The site doesn't measure your visits.
- Technical logs kept by the site's host (for example, the IP address), only for the security and proper operation of the site.
The site's buttons lead to other services: GOrendezvous (booking), Messenger and Google Maps. When you use them, their own privacy policy applies.
3. What I collect when you book
- Your name, phone number and email.
- The date of your appointment and the service you chose.
- At the office, the information needed to keep your care safe (for example, an allergy or sensitive skin). This is sensitive information: I collect it only with your consent, and only if it is useful for your care.
4. Why I use it
- To book, confirm and remind you of your appointment.
- To give you care that is suited to you and safe.
- To give you your receipts, including for insurance.
- To answer your questions.
I don't use it for anything else without your consent, and I never sell it.
5. Who can access it
Only me. I also use a few providers to run my business:
- GOrendezvous, for appointments and reminders;
- Google (Gmail), for email;
- Meta (Messenger), if you write to me on Messenger;
- Cloudflare, to host the site.
Some of these providers may keep information outside Quebec. Before using them, I make sure your information is adequately protected there, as the law requires.
6. How long I keep it
I keep your information as long as it is useful to provide my care and to meet my obligations. After that, I destroy it securely.
7. How I protect it
I take reasonable measures to protect it: password-protected accounts, access limited to me alone, and paper files kept under lock.
If an incident happens (for example, a loss or unauthorized access), I record it in a register. If the incident presents a risk of serious harm, I notify the people affected and the Commission d'accès à l'information.
8. Cookies
This site uses no advertising cookies and no tool that follows you from site to site.
The booking calendar is provided by GOrendezvous. It only appears if you accept it, in the "Your privacy, your choice" banner or with the "Show the calendar" button. It then uses cookies that are needed to book an appointment. You can change your mind at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of the site.
Fonts are hosted with the site: no information is sent to Google to display them.
If I ever add an advertising measurement tool (such as the Meta pixel), it will stay off until you accept it, and this policy will be updated.
9. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- find out what information I hold about you and get a copy;
- have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent;
- ask me to stop sharing it;
- receive it in a commonly used technological format.
Write to me at the address above. I will answer within 30 days.
10. Complaints
Write to me first: I'll do everything I can to resolve the situation. If my answer doesn't satisfy you, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here, with its date.
